I am a fourth-year Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major. Joining the Tenner lab in Winter 2023, my goal is to explore my interest in biochemical pathways through helping with the investigation of the complement system and its role in Alzheimer’s Disease progression. After undergrad, I plan to go to law school and then work with intellectual property law as an attorney. During my free time, I can be found at the beach where I enjoy skimboarding and skating.

Undergraduate Research Assistant (2023-2024)
 I joined the Tenner lab in the Summer of 2023 in hopes of learning more about how the various components of the immune system, more specifically the complement system, affect Alzheimer’s Disease pathology. I am a 4th year Microbiology and Immunology major with a minor in Psychological Sciences and a future goal of pursuing an MD/PhD. My current project focuses on the effect of Toxoplasma gondii, a foodborne parasite, on Alzheimer’s Disease amyloid plaque pathology and microglial activation. Some of my favorite pastimes include playing guitar, cooking/baking food, and hiking. |
